90s Flashback | Dance Reloaded

The nineties didn't have one sound. They had a whole night's worth.
Dance Reloaded starts where a lot of evenings actually started — not with house, not with techno, but with something warmer. Sueño Latino, Kaoma, Marie Claire D'Ubaldo — the Latin current that ran through the early part of the decade, the music that got people on the floor before the room got serious.
Then the shift. Jamiroquai, Jestofunk, Black Box — a short trip through their productions -  because that's how it was back then. The funk and the house weren't separate categories, they were the same night moving forward. Crystal Waters, Gabrielle, Sophie Ellis-Bextor filling the room before the tempo started climbing.
By Utah Saints and Carl Craig the set is somewhere else entirely — the progressive edge of a decade that knew how to build without rushing.
Twenty-one tracks. One continuous arc from 116 to 127. All the parts of the nineties that belonged in the same room but don't usually end up in the same conversation.
