Welcome to NU GROOVES – October 2025 Funk Session.

This session kicks off with rhythm in its bones — tribal drums, warm brass, electric pianos, sharp guitar riffs and those unmistakable 70s-style basslines that just won’t quit.

We’re diving into the soulful world of NuDisco and NuFunk, two genres that reimagine the past through the lens of today. They’re not just vintage throwbacks — they’re fresh takes on funk and disco, where classic vocals, analog textures and timeless grooves are revived through modern production and edits.

You’ll hear brand new remixes of Italian gems, like Battisti and Vasco, reborn with style and energy, alongside pure originals from 1980 that are as funk as it gets. Expect also some massive names like Purple Disco Machine, Frankie Knuckles, Dr Packer, Michael Gray, and some soulful surprises to round out the ride.

This mix was made for dancefloors, aperitivo soundscapes, or simply to let your Saturday unfold with elegance and rhythm.
