The nineties didn't have one sound. They had a whole night's worth.Dance Reloaded starts where a lot of evenings actually started — not with house, not with techno, but with something warmer. Italian Mood. Hits — recent and past.This set picks up where the last one left off. No re-introduction, no change of direction — straight into Italian house and tech from the opening bar, BPM already pushing 129 and climbing from there.What holds this together is the logic of recognition. Annalisa and Olly represent where Italian pop-dance is right now. Rose Villain, The Kolors, Gabry Ponte. Then Fabri Fibra arrives with the Tantaroba remix, Vasco Rossi extended, De Gregori rebuilt for the floor, Eiffel 65 closing the arc at 140. None of it feels like a history lesson. Monday this week comes with a different weight. Not the slow groove of something waking up — this one arrives already moving.Nu Grooves | Modern Disco opens with Sarah Jane Morris and Mario Biondi and doesn't look back. The first half of the set holds its ground — a steady, dense plateau where the groove doesn't need to climb because it's already where it wants to be. Ultra Naté, Purple Disco Machine, Todd Terry with Barbara Tucker. Voices that carry, bass that holds, rhythm that asks something of your body without shouting.Then Earth N' Days pushes the door open, and the set finds its second gear. From there it builds deliberately — Majestic, Harry Romero in a Chris Lake edit — until Corona arrives and takes everything to the top.The closing belongs to Eartha Kitt. Joe T. Vanelli's mix. Two names from the nineties that knew exactly what they were doing then, and still do now.Tribal. Urban. Club. Seventies Pulse — Pure Soul of the Seventies.This one starts somewhere most DJ sets don't go: Hotel California. The reggae kick in! Bob Marley. Dennis Brown. Loredana Bertè singing reggae in Italian in 1979, which sounds exactly as unexpected and right as it did then. The BPMs are low, and they're supposed to be — because this set isn't trying to fill a dancefloor. It's trying to show you what the seventies actually sounded like when you took the whole decade at once.There's Vangelis somewhere in the middle, building something electronic before anyone had a name for it. There's Earth Wind and Fire, the Bee Gees — the voices and basslines that dance music has been borrowing ever since. And there are three Italian artists — Venditti, Rino Gaetano — who were doing something completely their own while all of this was happening internationally.Lynyrd Skynyrd closes it. Because the blues was there at the beginning of everything, and it's still there at the end with a drop from the Blues Brothers.This is the deepest cut in the series so far.
